How we research, label and update scholarships. Last updated: October 8, 2026

This page explains where the information on ScholarshipClaude.com comes from, what our labels mean and how to report an error. It applies to every scholarship page and guide on the site.

1. Where our information comes from

The facts on a scholarship page come from the provider's own pages: the government body, university or foundation that runs the award. Each scholarship page links to the official application website, so you can check the details yourself.

We may first hear about an opportunity from the news, social media or another website. We do not publish it until we have found the official source.

2. What each scholarship page tells you

  • Who can apply: the eligibility rules and the nationalities the award is open to.
  • What it covers: the benefits the provider lists and, where it publishes one, the stipend amount.
  • Dates: the deadline and, where known, when applications open.
  • Documents and steps: what to prepare and how to apply.
  • Selection: how applications are assessed, where the provider publishes its criteria.
  • Official link: the provider's application page.

3. How we label funding

  • Fully Funded: the provider covers the main costs of taking part. What that includes differs between awards, so each page lists what is covered.
  • Partial: the award pays part of the cost, such as tuition only or a fixed grant, and you would need other money as well.
  • Free: a course or programme that costs nothing to join and pays no living costs.

Some pages cover a university's whole range of awards, where the best award is fully funded and others are partial. Those pages carry the Fully Funded label, and the text says which awards are full and which are partial.

If a provider does not publish a figure, such as the monthly stipend, we say that it is not stated. We do not estimate it.

4. Deadlines

  • A plain date is a deadline the provider has announced.
  • "Expected" means the new call has not been announced, so the date is based on the previous cycle. Check the official page before you plan around it.
  • "Varies" means the date is set separately for each country, university or round.

Providers set deadlines in their own time zone, so confirm the exact closing time on the official page.

5. Open and closed opportunities

When a deadline passes, the entry moves from the active list to the Past / Closed page. We keep closed entries because many awards reopen each year with similar rules, and last cycle's page helps you prepare.

6. Selection criteria and requirements

We describe how applications are assessed only where the provider publishes its criteria. We do not invent weightings or percentages. Where a requirement differs from one programme to another, such as an English test score, we say that it varies and explain the provider's rule.

7. Guides and templates

Guides on the blog give general advice, worked examples and templates. Where a guide cites a rule, date or amount for a named scholarship, it comes from that provider's official page, and many guides state the date they were last checked. Templates show structure. Write the content yourself, because selection panels recognise copied text.

8. Updates and corrections

We re-check a page when a provider opens a new call or changes its rules. If you find an error, email support@scholarshipclaude.com with the page address and a link to the official source. We correct confirmed errors.

9. Independence and advertising

ScholarshipClaude is not affiliated with any government, university or scholarship body named on the site. The site may show advertising. Advertising does not decide which opportunities we list or how we describe them.

10. What this site does not do

We do not give legal, immigration or financial advice, we do not submit applications, and we cannot influence a provider's decision. Always confirm the details on the official website before you apply. See our disclaimer.

ScholarshipClaude is run by Mashal Ambreen, its Founder and CEO, who is responsible for this policy and for what the site publishes. More about the site is on the About page.
