Program Overview

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's (EMJM) programmes are run by consortia of European universities and let you study in at least two countries. Selected students receive a scholarship covering participation costs, travel and a monthly allowance of €1,400 for the whole programme. You apply directly to each programme, and most deadlines for the 2027 intake fall between October 2026 and February 2027; the date below is a typical deadline and each programme sets its own. Checked on 8 October 2026 against the EU Erasmus+ website and Programme Guide: the scholarship is calculated as 1,400 euros a month for the length of the master's programme (a maximum of 33,600 euros per student) and contributes to travel, visa, installation and living costs, on top of the participation costs. Students from all over the world can apply, and you apply directly to the consortium that runs each programme, in most cases between October and January. No more than 10% of the scholarships in one programme go to students of the same nationality. The date shown on this page is only a typical date; each programme sets its own.
