Program Overview
Flinders University funds international PhD and master's by research students through the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (International) and the Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarship. Both pay the international tuition fees and a tax-free living allowance, for up to 3.5 years for a PhD. One application covers all the scholarships in the round.
The international round for study starting in 2027 is closed: it was open from 30 April to 18 June 2026. The next round is not announced, so the date shown on this page is an estimate based on that round. Competition is strong, and recent winners held first class Honours or an equivalent result with a research thesis. This page was last checked against the Flinders University website on 7 October 2026.
