Program Overview
The Orange Tulip Scholarship is offered by Nuffic Neso offices together with Dutch universities and companies to talented students from selected countries who want to study in the Netherlands. Awards range from partial tuition waivers to full scholarships depending on the institution. Each country publishes its own list of participating programmes, usually in autumn, with application deadlines commonly around 1 April; the date below is an estimate for 2027.
Note, 7 October 2026: the Orange Tulip Scholarship page on the official Study in NL website no longer opens, and the programme does not appear on Study in NL's current scholarship list. We could not confirm that the programme is still running for 2027. Before you plan around it, ask the Dutch university you are applying to whether it still offers an Orange Tulip Scholarship for your country.
