WHO does not accept applications sent outside its recruitment system. This page was last checked against the WHO careers website on 4 October 2026. Checked on 8 October 2026 against the WHO website: internships are posted all year, and each vacancy has its own deadline. WHO gives all interns medical and accident insurance. A living allowance is paid only to eligible interns who need financial support, and the amount is stated in each vacancy. Travel to the duty station is not covered. Internships last 6 to 24 weeks.
