Program Overview

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship is the University of Toronto's most prestigious award for international undergraduate students. It recognises exceptional academic achievement, creativity and leadership, and covers tuition, books, incidental fees and full residence support for four years. About 37 Pearson Scholars are named each year. There are three deadlines for studies starting in September 2027. Your secondary school must nominate you by 9 October 2026, and each school can nominate only one student a year. You must apply for admission to the University of Toronto by 16 October 2026. You must then complete the Pearson Scholarship application and submit all documents by 6 November 2026. All three dates were confirmed on the University of Toronto website on 7 October 2026.
