Program Overview

The London School of Economics runs the Graduate Support Scheme (GSS), a need-based award for diploma and taught master's students, alongside a number of named scholarships. LSE provides around 3 million pounds in GSS funding each year, for Home and Overseas students. You apply after you submit your application for admission: the Graduate Applicant Portal then gives you a link to the LSE Graduate Financial Support online application. LSE has not yet published the deadline for students starting in 2027. For those starting in 2026, the form had to be completed by 5:00 pm UK time on Thursday 23 April 2026, and applicants needed a conditional or unconditional offer of a place by that date. The date shown on this page is an estimate based on that round. Funds are limited, so LSE recommends applying for admission and funding as early as possible. This page was last checked against the LSE website on 7 October 2026.
