Program Overview

Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) 2027 is a French government visiting fellowship for early-career researchers working on climate change and environmental topics. It funds a 12-month research stay at a French research institution, starting between September and December 2027. The programme is funded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space, and it is run by Campus France. Applications opened on 15 September 2026 and close on 15 December 2026. Each fellow receives 2,500 euros a month for 12 months, a 500 euro settling-in allowance and health cover. International travel is not covered. You need a host laboratory in France before you apply, because the application includes a letter of support from your host supervisor. Results are announced in May or June 2027. There is no MOPGA call for master's or PhD students. This page was last checked against the Campus France website on 7 October 2026.
