How scholarships work in France
France funds international students through government programmes run by Campus France, such as the Eiffel scholarship, and through awards from individual universities and schools. For Eiffel, your French institution nominates you, so you apply for admission first. Public university fees in France are low compared with many countries, which matters when a scholarship is partial.
