Program Overview

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Flood Risk Management (FRM) is a two-year programme taught by IHE Delft (Netherlands), TU Dresden (Germany), the Technical University of Catalonia (Spain) and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). Around 14 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are offered for the 2027–2029 intake, each covering participation costs plus 1,400 euros per month for up to 24 months. Scholarship applications close on 3 January 2027 (23:59 CET) for partner countries, which covers Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and most countries outside Europe, and on 7 February 2027 for programme countries. There is no separate scholarship form: you select Erasmus Mundus scholarship as your funding source inside the online admission application. Checked on 8 October 2026 against the programme website: the Erasmus Mundus scholarship deadline is 3 January 2027 at 23:59 CET for applicants from Partner Countries, which includes Pakistan, and 7 February 2027 for Programme Countries. Results come at the beginning of April 2027 and the programme starts in September 2027. Self-funded students pay a fee of 18,000 euros (excluding VAT); a reduced-fee scholarship lowers this to 3,000 euros and has a deadline of 15 April 2027. If your English test result is not ready by 3 January, you may upload it until 1 February 2027.
